​The goal of Atlanta’s CTP update is to make Atlanta’s transportation network safe, equitable, and sustainable, with a clear, achievable implementation strategy that will take the plan from vision to project delivery. Dive into our recent work to learn more about how ATLDOT is crafting a plan that reflects the community's needs. 

What's Covered?

  • Projects, programs, and policies that benefit the city in the long-term 

  • Safety improvements to reach Vision Zero by 2040

  • Infrastructure projects that support our transit operators, such as bus-only lanes and signal priority 

  • Road and intersection design improvements 

  • Active transportation projects 

  • Green infrastructure projects 

  • Implementation partnerships and strategies

  • Future roadway projects that support the City's goals

What's not?

  • Short-term, small maintenance improvements (fixing potholes, replacing signs, etc.) - visit ATL311 for these types of requests. 

  • New transit expansion projects (such as rail or bus routes)

  • Interstate / highway improvements
